Look what I found nestled away in an unknown folder on this computer! Baby Reece pictures from Day 1.

Here he is on Day 3 or 4 at our house with his MeMe and Grandpa.

How fun it is to look back on these pictures as a tiny little baby boy!

And I would like to inform everyone that last night was wonderful... he laid down at 10:45 and didn't wake up to eat until 4:45! He is sleeping longer and longer!

baby Reece's photo shoot

Here are a few photos from our most recent photo shoot ;) Well... the professional photo shoot, that is!

He is quite adorable and we are just bonding more and more with him everyday. He wakes up about every 3 hours in the night and he's been staying awake longer during the day. He has been feeling much better... he is handling the gas pains much better, plus Garrett and I have adjusted to him! It is all so wonderful. He is growing and is probably ~11 1/2 lbs or more. We'll find out how much he weighs at his 2 month check-up on July 9th. He has sure grown since he was first born. Looking back at past photos, he is much bigger now. I will say that I am loving every stage of this! I don't miss the newborn "tiny" stage at this point, and that's probably because I am getting more rest and we've adjusted to each other better. I will be very ready to welcome Reece's newborn cousin to the world in September, though! By then Reece will be 4 months, and wow- that's double what he is now!

Let me just say that I am loving being a Mom. Garrett loves being a Dad. It's precious to see them at home in the evenings just talking to each other and smiling at each other. Reece coos so often and he started smiling within the past week! He makes eye contact too... it's all coming along so quickly! He has grown, showing us more and more of his personality everyday!

I hope you enjoyed the photos. I really like them. He is our adorable son whom we're enjoying making wonderful memories with!

Reece met his new friend, Ella Jewel. Here she is 1 week old and he is 4.5 weeks. He is ~11 lbs and she was ~7 lbs... notice the size difference!

Dear friends and family,

We are enjoying this summer! Reece is such a wonderful baby and we're learning more and more about him everyday. These recent pictures kinda show you what our daily routines are made of... from going to work with Momma to spending quality time with Daddy when he gets home, plus church and friends in between there, not to mention the poolside times.

I will say that we had Reece in the pool with us a few weeks ago, in a "boat" where he didn't get wet, however- I forgot to take a picture... next time I will though.

Well, it is wonderful. We miss the family and hope to see you all soon!

Reece at 4 & 5 weeks!

Wow, time has truly flown by! Reece is now 5 weeks old and it's hard to believe how quickly it's gone--- not to mention how fast he's grown! I assume he's probably weighing in at at least 11 pounds. He's grown soooo much, and here are pictures to prove it ;)

These bathtime pictures are from THIS morning. He absolutely loves his baths. There have been nights when he is cranky and nothing can calm him down... but oh, his bath will! He just lounges in his tub and loves the warm water... not to mention how great he smells with his Johnson & Johnson bath wash! It is a great time.

He's fully dressed... just without a smile ;) He looks like Dapper Dan here in his Tommy polo. And it's kinda funny because we put him in this a few weeks ago and he did not fill it out like he does now! Yes, he quickly outgrew the "newborn" clothes and he's now in 0-3 months.

Here he is with me at my first week back at work. We were visiting Aunt Erin in her office!

And there he is putting on a smile for the family photo! Let's hope he smiles that good when we get his professional pics done!

This was during his 4th week... I was just about to pull him out of his car seat... and it's obvious he enjoyed the car ride!

And this was back when he was 3 weeks and 5 days... here he is with Daddy at Bar-B-Q Barn eating lunch... well, munching on the pacifier!

And the week before I headed back to work, I had to lay with him late one morning and simply enjoy napping together... oh the joys of being a mom!

Well, I know it's been short and sweet... too sweet for words (if you're as biased about the little boy as I am)! But, yes- he is wonderful! He is a very content baby and has made it easier and easier on Garrett and me. I will say that after the first 2 weeks, being a Mom got much better and then when we hit the 1 month mark (June 6th), it just seemed even easier! We are continually adjusting to each other and Reece has been adjusting well to the new work schedule. Everyone at the office loves him and he is a joy to have around. It's a blessing the way my boss allows him to be up here... it's just like one big family!

Well, we will continue to update this blog. But enjoy these pictures. They are very recent!

We love you all and can't wait to see you again in person!
